We are looking for an Organic Content Strategist with extensive experience in organic TikTok content creation and social commerce. This hands-on position involves managing multiple brands, developing viral content, and driving growth through strategic organic marketing. A strong background in brand building, content optimization, and attention to detail are critical. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the TikTok algorithm and how to leverage it to optimize content performance.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee TikTok Content Strategy for Brand Building and Shoppable ads: Lead the content strategy for multiple brands, ensuring each post aligns with the brand’s voice and engages the target audience. Monitor engagement and adjust strategies to maximize organic reach and shoppable ad performance.  
  • Content Ideation & Execution: Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative concepts that drive virality. Work closely with production teams to bring these ideas to life.
  • Creative Collaboration: Partner with the broader marketing, design, and creative teams to flawlessly execute TikTok campaigns, ensuring consistency in messaging and visuals across all touchpoints.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the production of high-quality short- and long-form video content, driving innovation while maintaining brand consistency. This includes making organic ads shoppable to drive substantial revenue for the brands.
  • Utilize Data-Driven Metrics & Reporting: Use analytics and performance metrics to refine content strategies, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) like engagement, retention, and conversions. Regularly evaluate campaign performance, produce reports to demonstrate effectiveness
  • Content Calendar Management: Develop and oversee a comprehensive content calendar for each client, ensuring a steady stream of posts that align with campaign goals, product launches, and brand initiatives. This includes a combination of organic and shoppable videos.
  • Trend Monitoring & Innovation: Stay current on social media trends, emerging content formats, and platform updates. 
  • Brand Strategy & Marketing: Starting with deep insights (customer, product, competitor), develop a cohesive strategy that incorporates customer journey mapping, brand positioning, and cross-channel messaging that aligns with client goals.
  • Optimization & Problem-Solving: Identify areas for improvement in content performance, processes, and execution. Continuously iterate on strategies to enhance engagement and business growth.
  • Resource Management: Define resourcing needs and act as the hiring manager for additional team members as needed. Ensure the team is equipped with the right tools, training, and processes to perform at a high level. Establish performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and support career development.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in content creation, ideally within a digital marketing agency
  • Expertise in TikTok content creation, including short- and long-form video production, and a deep understanding of the platform’s algorithm and trends.
  • Proven ability to lead content strategy for multiple brands, optimizing both organic and shoppable ad performance to drive engagement and revenue.
  • Proficiency in data-driven content optimization, using analytics to track KPIs
  • Experience managing content calendars for multiple clients
  • Active and savvy TikTok user with a deep understanding of platform trends
  • Comfort with ambiguity and with working in a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • High degree of integrity and business ethics; must be self-motivated and able to work as an individual contributor.  Self-Accountable.

Compensation: $75,000 – $87,000 (USD)

Additional Benefits:

  • Performance-based Bonus

Location-Based Pay:

  • Compensation is based on the candidate’s location within the United States.

Note: The salary range represents the base salary and does not account for additional benefits and commissions. The final compensation package will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall fit for the role.
