As a Client Partner, your role is pivotal in strategically collaborating with our partners to identify and capitalize on opportunities for business growth. This involves a deep partnership with the media team to craft effective media strategies that align with client targets. In your role, you will manage the communication of these strategies to the clients, and gain their buy-in. The objective is to produce a profitable, consistent, and effective outcome. This will require project management skills, combined with a strong understanding of paid advertising campaign management.

Requirements

General Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership Development: Lead in the communications, including weekly calls, face-to-face meetings, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), to understand partner needs and objectives.
  • Client Development: Understand the client’s business goals and objectives that will lead to a fruitful partnership and campaign strategy.
  • Collaborative Media Strategy Formulation: Work closely with the media team to develop and refine media strategies that meet client targets, ensuring their effectiveness and alignment with client goals.
  • Client Engagement and Buy-In: Effectively communicate and present media strategies and data to clients, securing their understanding and buy-in.
  • Data-Driven Revenue Growth: Identify and capitalize on data-driven opportunities to increase revenue, upselling services in alignment with client growth objectives.
  • Relationship Building: Foster effective partnerships, demonstrating an understanding of partners’ business landscapes and growth potential.
  • Insight and Data Analysis: Deliver actionable insights through meticulous data trend analysis, providing strategic recommendations to drive partner growth.
  • Internal and External Coordination: Serve as a critical liaison, aligning internal strategies with partner needs to ensure exceptional service and mutual success.
  • Thought Innovation: Continuously educate on and implement new strategies based on industry trends and opportunities.

Role-Specific Responsibilities:

This role will be heavily focused on managing our social commerce clients on TikTok Shop.

  • Strategic Planning: Design and implement a detailed strategy to build and expand our clients’ presence on TikTok Shop, ensuring it aligns with the company’s broader goals.
  • Content Development: Oversee the training, planning and execution of engaging content for TikTok Shop, showcasing products, promotions, and interactive campaigns to attract and maintain a strong following.
  • Campaign Execution: Oversee the execution of TikTok Shop campaigns, including collaborations with influencers, hashtag challenges, and sponsored content, all aimed at driving traffic and boosting sales.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate critical performance metrics such as GMV, engagement, conversions, and sales on TikTok Shop, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and enhance campaign outcomes.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including affiliate, media, and creative, to ensure that TikTok Shop efforts are aligned with larger business initiatives.
  • TSP Relationship Management: Work closely with TSP teams at TikTok to align on strategic initiatives that unlock growth for our clients.
  • Industry Awareness: Keep up with evolving trends, tools, and best practices on TikTok Shop and other social platforms, continuously optimizing our approach to remain innovative and competitive.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of ad agency experience working in a client partnership or account management capacity.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Meta, Google, TikTok and/or email marketing.
  • Must have a proven track record of successfully managing complex relationships and have helped to drive new initiatives from these relationships
  • Driven by solving complex challenges and finding ways to surprise and delight our clients
  • Sharp eye for detail and organizational skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity and with working in a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel; including pivot tables and relevant reporting tools
  • High degree of integrity and business ethics; must be self-motivated and able to work as an individual contributor. Self-Accountable.
  • Bachelor in Marketing or a quantitative discipline; advanced degree a plus

Compensation: $75,000 – $87,000 (USD)

Additional Benefits:

  • Performance-based Bonus

Location-Based Pay:

  • Compensation is based on the candidate’s location within the United States.

Note: The salary range represents the base salary and does not account for additional benefits and commissions. The final compensation package will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall fit for the role.
